Designed for the hardcore packrafter who carries a full whitewater kit deep into the backcountry. This pack will swallow a large Alpacka Mage or Valkyrie, with plenty of internal space for a drysuit, pfd, helmet and a week of food.
The Bad Larry integrates with existing Sockdolager accessories like the Bow Bag and Captain's Bag, which can further reduce your overall system weight and add additional storage capacity.
The entire pack is designed to compress into a very tidy and small package for easy storage inside a cargo zipper on the packraft, and to fit nicely in the stern of even the smallest packraft.
Side pockets are large and dimensioned to fit a packraft blade and two 1 liter water bottles per side. Adjustable and replaceable shock cord allows you to easily tighten or loosen the pockets while hiking without removing the pack from your back.
Note: The photos and videos may not show the most up to date revisions of every pack. Because I build these one at a time, I may make slight changes to the patterning to improve performance or efficiency.

Sizing
Torso
For instructions on how to measure your torso and waist, please refer to blog article "How to Measure Your Torso - Backpack Fit Guide."
Generally speaking these are typical "ballpark" size ranges. These are listed here as a reference, but they do not replace the need to take exact measurements.
Small: Less than 17" - Height of 5'4" or smaller
Medium: 17" Height of 5'5" to 5' 9"
Large: 19" Height of 5'9 to 6'2"
Extra Large: 21+" Height of 6'2" or taller
If you are concerned about the torso measurement, and you have a pack you can use as a reference, feel free to email me a photo of you wearing the pack, viewed from the side, with the pack weighted with 30 lbs in it.
Belt
Measuring Your Waist Size
This measurement is the total circumference around your waist, around the iliac crest. This is NOT your pant size. It is the exact measurement of your total waist circumference.
Measuring Padded Belt Size
This measurement is your total circumference of your waist, from the forward edge of your hipbones around your back to the other edge of your hipbones. This measurement is used to make sure that the padded section of the belt fully wraps the entire skeletal structure.
