Installation Instructions

The seat bag is designed to connect to your Alpacka back band at three points. The primary connection is the small webbing loops on the top center of the bag. The stabilizing strap from your backband passes through these loops with a buckle.

If your boat was manufactured before 2023, and uses shock-cord to stabilize the back band, you will need to purchase the optional snap hook and girth hitch it to the D ring, which then allows a quick release attachment to the shock-cord.

The other two connection points are slik clips which connect to the 1” webbing on the sides of the back band. All 3 connections should be used while the seat bag is installed in the boat.

The optional included webbing strap should be stowed safely away while the bag is attached to the boat. It connects to the side slik clips for hiking away from the boat.

Update 03/26: There are now two webbing loops on the top panel, one at the front and one at the back. This allows more flexibility attaching it to different brands and helps stabilize the bag.
