Tri-Tip Adapter for Alpacka Pack-a-Pump

One pump for every packraft.  The Tri Tip is a unifying adapter for the Alpacka Pack-A-Pump, inflation bag, and select Flextail battery pumps that brings compatibility to nearly every valve on the packraft market.

Updated with improved geometry in April 2025, the new bright orange adapter is compatible with the Leafield D7, NRS Bravo, Aire Summit, Halkey Roberts, and Boston valves. Many of these valves can also be used hands free with a Flextail pump.   The Tri Tip also integrates with traditional Alpacka hose inflation valves used on seats and foot pillows, allowing you to inflate or temper your boat without going to shore, and without using your breath.  

When not in use, the adapter fits perfectly inside the grip of the Pack-A-Pump.

Features

• Threaded for the Leafield D7 valve on Kokopelli rafts to securely screw the pump on to the valve and inflate one handed from the boat.
• Compression fit provides a positive connection on the NRS Bravo, Aire Summit, and Halkey Roberts style valves.
• Tapered press fit on Boston valves.
• Interior of the adapter cone tapers to seal on inflation hoses for seats and foot pillows, allowing you to pump them even while sitting inside the boat.*
• Base of the adapter can press fit onto select Flextail battery pumps like the Max Pump 2 Pro.  Also compatible with the Kokopelli Feather Pump, Micronovelty Gigapump, and select other Flextail models that have a male attachment on the battery pump side.
• Alpacka inflation bags can now be used on the seat and foot pillows, eliminating the need to use your mouth.
• By attaching the adapter to the suction side of a battery pump, you can deflate floors and seats very quickly and tightly to reduce the rolled volume.

Note: Because this adapter can seal on inflation tubes that are normally inflated by mouth or with low pressure pumps, you must be very careful not to over-inflate these chambers as the pressure generated by a Pack-A-Pump will easily blow these components apart.
